SQE Training Joins Growing List of World-Class Trainers with Agile University
Agile University nears the 100 mark for the number of trainers on its roster
TORONTO and BOULDER, Colo., August 6, 2008 - Agile UniversityTM, the largest source for Agile training, today announced the addition of SQE Training as an affiliated training company now delivering its courses through Agile University's online portal of publicly available Agile courses around the world. This announcement comes as Agile University nears the 100 mark for the number of trainers on its roster just one year after its official launch.
SQE Training will utilize Agile University's course fulfillment services to support the promotion of SQE Training courses across the United States. SQE's specific course curriculum is comprised of four separate courses that can be grouped together to create a tailored Agile week of training, including ‘Scrum Master Implementation Workshop,' ‘Practical Test-Driven Development,' ‘User Stories and Estimation in Agile Development' and ‘Decision Patterns Explained.' Additionally, a fifth course is offered outside of this training week entitled ‘Lean-Agile Testing Practices.' SQE's courses are known worldwide and are developed and delivered by top industry trainers, including Guy Beaver and Rob Myers.
"Offering a readily available and recommended path to Agile expertise is the best way for us to help our customers see Agile success across teams, programs and entire enterprises," said Alison Wade, CEO of SQE Training. "Agile University helps us accomplish that goal by promoting our services for public training. We are absolutely thrilled to be joining the AU organization."
Since launching in August of 2007, Agile University has seen widespread adoption of not only its 70 course offerings for students but also its association with some of the industry's most notable trainers, including Christopher Avery, Esther Derby, Jim Highsmith and Jean Tabaka. Agile University offers a unique solution for training companies as well as independent Agile trainers by providing promotion, logistics, and registration services for their courses. Agile University is a division of Rally Software Development Corp.
As part of this relationship, SQE Training will offer a $200 discount to students registering for any of its Agile courses through Agile University.
